#UnitedAgainstHate

I can’t say that I’ve ever attended a protest before, whether to partake or document. Suffice it to say, yesterday’s #UnitedAgainstHate Protest against President-elect Donald Trump was my first. I was slightly nervous and didn’t know what to expect.

The protest was slated to start at 10am and seeing that on Facebook 15 thousand people replied saying they were “Going”, I opted to take the Metro to the meeting place at MacArthur Park. This turned out to be a superb idea as the train was packed! I arrived at around 10:30am and the march to Downtown has already began.

I’ll let the images below speak for themselves in regards to the protest but I do want to note that this experience was an incredible one.
